Short version: the Pivett website uses no tracking or advertising cookies. Here is the little we do store in your browser, and why.
2.What we use
We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and no one else sets them through our website. We use only these:
| Name | What it does | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
pivett_admin | Keeps Pivett staff signed in to our private admin area. Visitors never get it. | Cookie, strictly necessary | 7 days |
pivett-resume-v1 | Saves the resume you’re writing in our resume builder on your device, so you don’t lose it. It is never sent to us. | Local storage, functional | Until you clear it |
pivett-brief | Remembers which example role our homepage showed you, so you see a different one next time. It holds only a number. | Local storage, functional | Until you clear it |
None of these identify you or follow you to other websites.
3.Other services
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Google receives your IP address to send the fonts but sets no cookies. Links to our LinkedIn and Instagram pages are plain links: those sites only set their own cookies if you click through to them, under their own policies.
4.Why there is no cookie banner
Everything we use is either needed for the site to work or simply remembers something on your own device for your convenience, so we don’t ask for consent with a banner. If we ever add analytics or any other optional cookies, we’ll ask for your permission first and update this page.
5.How to control them
You can see and delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser’s settings, usually under Privacy or Site data. You can also block them. If you do, the site still works; the resume builder just won’t remember your draft.
Help pages for common browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge.
6.More information
